Advanced Open Water Diver
The PADI
Advance Open Water Course allows you to build on the knowledge and experience
that you gained in your Open Water Course, take the next step using different
diving skills and gain further confidence as a diver.
The course will allow you to gain experience, under the supervision of
a qualified Instructor, in the following specialties areas: deep diving
(you will be qualified to 30m), night diving, navigation diving, drift
diving and underwater naturalist.
Prerequisites
- " PADI Open Water certification (or qualifying certification from another organsation)
- Minimum age: 15 years old (12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)

Requirements
- $100.00 deposit, balance of course fees are due at the first session of your course
- Manual read and knowledge reviews completed
- Must provide own mask, snorkel, boots and fins
- PADI Recreational Dive Planner (RDP tables)
- Torch and cylume
- Whistle and safety sausage
- Slate with pencil
- Log book
- Dive knife
- 2 passport photographs
Course Schedule
- Five dives which must include: deep dive, navigation dive, night dive
- Friday night 7pm - 9.30pm, theory
- Saturday shore diving, 3 dives finishing with a night dive
- Sunday
2 boat dives
