Flinders Pier – Saturday 4th June 2022

Divers: Jim, Nathan, Seb & Mark

It’s just that time of the year, strong winds & drizzle making boat diving very difficult to do. However, there is always a dive to be had some where, with the strong Northerlies today we chose Flinders Pier. The conditions there where  very good, the sun was shinning, the water flat (in the lee) & the viz was a good 8-10 metres. The best part of all was we knew we would find a Weedy Sea Dragon. I heard on the grapevine that the shire are now not pulling down the timber section of the pier, which is good news. I don’t know what will happen with it, whether they will re build it or just leave it? but a least it’s not getting pulled down.
