The dive conditions were great today, no swell, just a little bit of surface chop & 10+ meters viz on the subs. The roads & carparks were empty, must be the rain we had yesterday, although it was overcast – perfect for diving – it didn’t rain.The J2 is the hardest of all the subs to dive given its proximity to the shipping lanes. We had the boat to ourselves & that meant a nice easy penetration of the subs, the J2 is also the ‘siltiest’ of the subs so great care needs to be taken when doing a full penetration and having no other divers meant our team could safely enter the subs.
