Yesterdays northerly wind had swung around to the south, whipping up some surface chop, but not enough to worry us. It meant for a slow trip out, but getting in to the water & then back into the boat (the most important thing) was easy enough. The viz was better, about 8-10 metres & once in side the sub the surge had almost disappeared. Once the sun came out it was a really nice day to be out on the water, especially given that it is the start of winter :).
