With the swell at the Heads ranging from 3-6 metres this morning, it’s no wonder that our boat dives were cancelled. However, we all had a reason for wanting to spend some time in the water today. For me, I (and others) have just attached my GoPro camera to my scooter in order to facilitate our photogrammetry project. Although the viz wasn’t great, I was able to get the setup working :). The Normoxic Trimix boys were able to get in a very good practice session, in fact everyone achieved what they wanted from the dive. Normally this time of year brings the very best of dive conditions, which I’m sure (hoping) will come sooner rather than later!
