With virtually no wind and flat seas surface conditions were as good as it gets. Underwater the viz at Pope’s Eye was excellent which gave our Open Water students the opportunity to enjoy the abundant fish life on their first boat dive. After finning back and forth across the face of the rock pile we ascended over the kelp waving gently in the current.

The viz for our second dive at The Grotto was even better. With all their skills completed on the previous dive our students could focus on enjoying the marine life; including several Blue Devils, colourful leatherjackets and some huge boar fish. A well- executed ascent was completed as we drifted along with the tidal current.
