Popes Eye – Saturday 14th January 2017

Divers:  Felix, Poppy, Rudi, Luisa, Gary, Vinnie  & Mark

Our dive departure time had been brought forward by an hour, which meant we were down at Portsea well before the Polo crowd turned up. The wind that was blowing over the sea surface was creating some surface chop not no swell. The water temperature is 18 degrees at the moment and with a good 6-8metre viz conditions were good for diving. The fish life was amazing as always and we were really enjoying the dive. Then we came across a Juvenile Cuttlefish and the excitement really started to climb, we spent quite a bit of time watching this little fellow change colours as he moved over the bottom, I even gave him a quick pat between the eyes which he really seemed to enjoy.
