The bay had been oily flat all week & we were looking forward to some amazing dive conditions over the weekend, unfortunately the wind came up over night & when we arrived at Rye Pier we had the against the tide, which made the surface a bit sloppy & the viz was down, but generally under the was fine. The conditions improve as the day went on & the tide turned.
Rye Pier has really come back as great dive site now hat the pier renovations are complete & they have left quite a few of the pylons in place which meant not losing the sea life habitats, the fish life really is incredible now.
