Divers – Amanda, Caroline, Emily, Nick, Rod & Tim

With a stronger than forecast northerly blowing early in the day surface conditions were slightly choppy at first, but the wind dropped and then turned southerly which resulted in flat water for the rest of the day. As usual at Rye there was abundant fish life for our Open Water students to enjoy on their first dives, with two sightings of large smooth rays a highlight. With their skills successfully completed everyone is now looking forward to the boat dives next weekend.
