For our last Summer dive we were taken by Mick, (Dive Vic’s skipper) to a his secret scallop beds located somewhere in Port Philip Bay. The dive was not without its challenges, but it’s the challenges that keep divers alert and prepared, making us all better divers.  On the bottom the scallops fluttered around like butterflies.  All we had to do was reach out and collect them.  Most importantly we all had a great time, we all got back on the boat safely, and we all get to look forward to diving another day. For those that did collect the scallops they made for a nice meal 😊
