At long last we got to do a boat dive :). We knew the weather had to break eventually & hopefully, this is the start of a long run of good diving weather. Although the swell was at 1.8m the time was 15 seconds, which meant it was just a long rolling swell and with the 20m viz this made for extremely good dive conditions. The early morning start gave us the best of conditions, with the sun rising over the headland & the seas nice & flat, the extra effort of the early morning start was well behind us, we had an amazing dive to look forward to. There was more than the usual level of activity once we were all back on the boat, some of the group hadn’t been on a boat dive for quite a few weeks, so to get in a boat dive, particularly one as good as this had everyone excited & wanting to get back to do more.
