The building works are continuing at the pier, I think tit may actually be improving the pier as a dive site. Although we have are no longer able to swim through the pier at any given point, the concrete breakwater has created a really cool swim, in an overhead environment. The fish life at the end of the pier seems to be greater than its ever been – that might just be because the fishermen cant get out there to catch them, but hopefully when all of the building works are complete we will have what I believe will be an even better die site than before.
