Mornington Pier – Sunday 14th July 2024

Divers: Matt & Jim

ROV Pilots: Ben, Youri, Ian, Push & Tim

After yesterdays successful day with the ROV, we headed down to Mornington to run some of our other team members through the use of the unit. Even some of the local kids having a fish got involved in the action 🙂
Of course Matt & Jim wren’t any part of a ROV, they were in the water & doing skills drills which is still required for keeping our skills sharp.
I don’t think this will ever the joy of diving, but when required, the ROV is certainly a great tool to save time when wreck hunting. We are very confident that our team of pilots now have the skills to use ROV to help us locate the Hudson Bomber down at Lake Entrance.
