The Dutch steam dredge was brought out to Australia to work in the dredging of Port Phillip Bay. At approximately 180 feet long, it is short enough to cover in one dive & large enough to require another dive to do it well.
Immediately upon entering the water, it was apparent that the viz down to 30m was going to be amazing, however, that does not always equate to good viz on the sea bed. Fortunately today it did, 30 plus meters, and warmish (about 15 degrees on the bottom) water & zero current, which all made for a very comfortable & enjoyable dive.
