Castle Rock & Lonsdale Bommies – Saturday 13th April 2019

Divers: Miriam, Russell, Lachlan, John, Bec, Andy, Robert, Ian & Mark

Todays dive conditions were as good as it gets – oily flat water, blue skies & 15-20m viz, 17 degrees temperature. We dived Castle Rock first, this was certainly a dive to bring our newer divers back again, we could not have asked for more. The fish life was amazing & of course the Rock it self made for an interesting dive, just looking under the ledges etc. Lonsdale Bommies gave us even more to look at with overhangs and swim throughs between the outcrops and bommies. We spent most of the dive looking into crevices, some 10m long!! Just as we are about to end our dive a large Angle Ray swims right past us. The boat was a buzz as we motored back to Portsea.
