Large swells at the heads put an end to any boat diving in the graveyard, but we didn’t want to waste such a nice day, so we went for a skills dive under Mornington. It seems plenty of other divers had the same idea. The conditions were great & the viz at about 5-6 metres was enjoyable. There were also plenty of fishermen, which made for a very full carpark. I believe Rye Pier is about to open up very soon & that will see a lot divers heading to Rye which will spread the crowds out a bit. Overall it was a very pleasant day under the water & we’re looking forward to a graveyard dive this coming Saturday :).
