Flinders Pier – Sat 26 August 2017

Divers: Madeleine, Adam, Charlotte, Kasper and Andrew
With another winter almost behind us we were keen to get into the water and work on some new skills. We had planned to dive Rye Pier but the weather had other ideas so we went with Plan B and met at Flinders Pier instead. Flinders is a great dive site in its own right and it certainly met our expectations today.
After nailing our buoyancy and navigation exercises we began exploring the many fascinating creatures that live under Flinders Pier. The group spotted an array of seahorses, puffer fish, Sponges, weedy sea dragons and lots more.
Everyone got out of the water a little tired but smiling. We are all looking forward to some more great diving tomorrow.
