As always with a Hard Hat day, the crowd starts to gather, to watch as the divers are dressed in preparation for the dive. Cameras are flashing as the surface crew ‘dress’ the diver, once all the gear is ready his helmet is placed in his lap for the that one photo all divers want – the Hero Shot, all geared up with helmet just about to be put in place – just prior to entering the water. The conditions on the day were great and all divers really enjoyed their time underwater in the equipment our fore bearers pioneered diving in. A special thanks to Warren for bring his gear along for us to use and an extra special thanks to our two safety divers who braved 5 hours in the less than warm water.
