we arrived at the pier nice and early & lucky for us we did, because by the time we left, Rye was packed with people. Nepean Hwy was bumper to bumper, cars were queuing up just to get in to the carpark. The conditions today were fantastic, 10m viz, 19 degree water & once the tide turned the little bit of surface chop that was there, from the Flood Tide had flattened right out. It appears the fish life is back in full force after the latest pier renovations which have now be completed, Sea Horses, Smooth Back Rays & lots of fish.
