Divers: James, Nath, Seb, Chris, Ian, Tim, Youri & Mark

between the poor weather & the even poorer viz, diving has been a real challenge over the past weeks. We’ve dived several sites lately & although the the surface viz was often ok, once we get to the bottom, the bottom 5 metres turns to zero. Once we realised that todays dive was actually going ahead, all thoughts turned towards the visibility and could we even do the dive. Some times it’s just a roll of the dice. Even motoring out to the dive site we were looking at the colour of the water, once through the heads the water was brownish, as we got further out from the heads the water colour changed to a greyish colour. This gave us a little bit of hope & when we got to the site the water had a blueish tinge, Of course the surface water is no indication of what you will get on the bottom & you wont know what the bottom will be like until you get there. To out surprise when we get to the bottom at 50m the the viz was a good 15m :).
