The weather forecast was good, getting better & we were all looking forward to getting back into water after a couple of weeks of no diving. Apart from the fact that viz on the bottom wasn’t all that good, all other conditions were great. We were diving off Dive Victoria’s recently refitted Hermes. Certainly the egress out of the water, back onto the boat is far better than any of their other boats. Getting into the water takes some planning, but, it is nice to be able to back in to the boat with minimal effort.
The jury is still out as to whether or not we were actually on the Burke – but that’s OK because that just gives us another project to sort out.
