Coogee & J4 Sub – Sunday 10th March 2024

Divers: Matt, Ben, Bas, Pete, James, Seb, Nath & Mark

The conditions today were perfect for a graveyard dive with the strong northerlies, and with the lack rain lately the viz was really good. Its been a while since we last dived the Coogee, which I think is one of the better shallower wrecks, it has plenty of structure to swim around, the main features being the bow, boilers, hatches & of the course the iconic stern – a must, for the photographer. The J4 Sub was a great dive, there was a small amount of surge running through the sub, but still very manageable. Of course, our attention was soon focused on lunch & so off to Rye Pub we go.
